About Us

WHO WE ARE

WHAT WE BELIEVE

The Texas Spa Association’s network of spa professionals is unified by the desire to promote Texas as the premier destination for wellness and beauty experiences in the country.

We are an association built on the trust and professionalism of our peers, working to contribute through education and networking in a united effort to build a successful and thriving spa industry.

Embracing this mission, the Texas Spa Association follows a progressive approach toward wellness by launching an educational wellness series featured not only on our website but also promoted across our social media platforms and shared during special events.

Join the TSA and become woven into the fabric of the Texas spa community. Those considering TSA membership should have an interest in bettering the experience of guests, employees, management, and their affiliates. This organization was not created solely for linking merchants with vendors, nor for social interaction alone. Our mission is to improve the environment of the industry as a whole.

If you believe in values-driven business and want to do more—and get more—out of your role in the spa industry, call (561) 413-5843 today and become part of an organization that delivers just that. (Note: Please confirm if the phone number should be updated to a Texas-based number.)

Here at the Texas Spa Association, we are committed to our code of ethics. Each member, as well as our board members, adheres to them in order to promote the organization in a professional manner. Our code of ethics is as follows:

  • Members are expected to operate using the highest standards of business and personal relationships.
  • Guided in all activities by truth, accuracy, fairness, and integrity.
  • Members pledge to stay informed on the latest techniques, developments, and knowledge pertinent to professional improvement.
  • Members will help fellow members reach personal and professional fulfillment.
  • Members will utilize every opportunity to enhance the public image of the spa industry.

The TSA and its Board of Directors pride themselves on maintaining these professional standards and business environments. Our goal is to uphold positive experiences and environments for guests and colleagues alike.

Mastermind Sessions

A Mastermind isn’t a support group or a sales pitch. It’s a think tank for spa leaders who believe that together, we build a stronger, more respected industry.

Lead A Mastermind Session

What Is a Mastermind Session for Spa Professionals?

A Mastermind session is a guided, solutions-driven gathering of non-competing spa owners, directors, lead therapists, and managers who meet regularly to tackle real-world business and wellness challenges. Rooted in the Texas Spa Association’s commitment to peer trust and progressive wellness, these sessions move beyond surface-level networking into deep strategic thinking.

Typical Structure (60–90 minutes)

  1. Check-in & Wins (5–10 min)Each participant briefly shares a recent win or progress on a previous goal. This builds momentum and positivity.
  2. Hot Seat Presentations (40–60 min)One or two members present a current challenge (e.g., staff retention, low rebooking rates, marketing budget issues, integrating new wellness services). The group asks clarifying questions, then offers actionable strategies, resources, and honest feedback—no generic advice allowed.
  3. Commitments & Accountability (10–15 min)Each member states one specific action they will take before the next session. The group notes these for follow-up.
  4. Resource Share (5 min)Quick sharing of a valuable tool, workshop, article, or vendor experience relevant to spa operations.

Example Topics Discussed

  • How to raise prices without losing loyal clients
  • Implementing a successful spa membership program
  • Reducing no-shows and late cancellations
  • Cross-training therapists for seasonal demand
  • Adding medical or holistic wellness services (e.g., IV therapy, sound baths)
  • Navigating licensure and liability in Texas

Why It Works for Spa Professionals

  • Peer accountability – Goals become real when you know your fellow members will ask about progress.
  • Collective intelligence – One spa owner’s solved problem becomes everyone’s shortcut.
  • Emotional support – Running a spa can be isolating; a Mastermind provides a trusted circle.
  • Values-driven – Aligned with the TSA’s code of ethics, members help each other find professional fulfillment while elevating the entire industry’s reputation.

Who Should Join?

Spa professionals who are serious about growth—not just socializing or vendor hunting. Ideal members are those who want to improve guest experiences, employee well-being, management practices, and affiliate relationships.

Upcoming Events

A Texas Spa Association networking session is not a typical “passive meet-and-greet.” It is a structured, values-driven experience designed to forge meaningful professional relationships among spa owners, managers, therapists, educators, and affiliates. Rooted in trust and peer professionalism, each session moves beyond exchanging business cards to building a collaborative community dedicated to elevating Texas as a premier wellness and beauty destination.

Join us for upcoming events, from community gatherings to special sales. We can't wait to see you there.
