Through the Dignity Backpack program, we assemble and distribute backpacks filled with essential self-care items to Texans experiencing homelessness. Every backpack also includes a handwritten note affirming the recipient's worth — a small gesture that can have a profound impact.

For someone stepping out of treatment, finding housing after homelessness, or sleeping outside, a simple Dignity Backpack can restore a sense of normalcy and hope. It means having something that belongs to them — something clean, warm, and given with care.
